Tuesday Mourning: lament and highlight the plight of refugees on Manus and Nauru

The Josephite Justice Network of the Sisters of St Joseph will be observing ‘Tuesday Mourning’ every week until Pentecost Sunday, to lament and acknowledge the plight of the innocent asylum seekers currently locked up on Manus Island and Nauru. They are encouraging others to join them in donning black every Tuesday as a sign of mourning.
