The 18th November 2016 is the final day of COP22 in Marrakech – the 22nd Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – which began on 7th November. Check on the current status of the Paris Agreement

The Paris Agreement builds upon the Convention and – for the first time – brings all nations into a common cause to undertake take ambitious efforts to combat climate change and adapt to its effects, with enhanced support to assist developing countries to do so. As such, it charts a new course in the global climate effort. (United Nations)

COP 22 Interfaith Climate Statement

A COP22 Interfaith Statement to World Leaders was handed over in an event on November 10 2016 at COP22 in Marrakesh. This was drafted and disseminated in joint collaboration with representatives from more than 30 faith-based organisations globally (ICCS).
