World leaders will meet in the U.N. Climate Summit at Paris (called COP21) in late November 2015, to sign a treaty to tackle climate change. After decades of failed negotiations, we need to increase the pressure on our governments for them to be more ambitious to solve the climate crisis.
NOVEMBER 28: Catholic Climate Petition Delivery Event
On 28th November the petition signatures will be delivered to high level political representatives from the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat and the French Government (who preside the COP21 Climate Summit) at a major event in Paris with other faith-based groups.
NOVEMBER 29: Global Climate March
On 29th November, hours before world leaders meet at the Paris Climate Summit, the Global Climate March will take place to push political leaders to commit to bold action to solve the climate change crisis. Over 1 million people are expected to join. The epicenter will be a mega march in Paris, which will be complemented by marches in all major cities across the globe.
